6.AI in Recruiting
When you apply for a position with Density AI, Inc., we may use AI-assisted tools as part of our initial application review process, including without limitation Greenhouse Software's Talent Matching feature, which analyzes the content of submitted resumes to generate a candidate match assessment based on the skills and requirements specified for the role.
What the AI does: The system extracts skills, job titles, years of experience, employment dates, and company names from your resume and compares them to job criteria established by our recruiting team. It assigns a match category (such as Strong Match, Good Match, Partial Match, or Limited Match) and a written summary of the assessment.
What the AI does not do: The AI does not make hiring decisions. No candidate is automatically advanced or rejected based on AI scoring. All advancement and rejection decisions are made by human recruiters or hiring managers. The AI assessment is used only during the initial application review stage and is not shared with interviewers.
Data shared with third parties: Resume analysis involves transmission of extracted resume data (skills, job titles, experience, and employment history — not your name or contact information) to third parties for processing, including without limitation OpenAI, a sub-processor engaged by Greenhouse Software. This data is processed solely to generate match assessments and is not used to train AI models.
Your rights: You have the right to:
- Request access to AI-generated scores and reasoning associated with your application
- Request manual review of your application in lieu of AI-assisted review (opt-out)
- Request deletion of AI-generated data associated with your application
To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@densityai.com.
Jurisdiction-specific notice: Some jurisdictions may require additional disclosures or provide additional rights regarding AI use in hiring. If you are located in New York City, Colorado, Illinois, or the European Economic Area/United Kingdom, please see the jurisdiction-specific notice applicable to you (if provided) or contact privacy@densityai.com.
7.Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above. Job applicant information is generally retained for 12–24 months following the conclusion of the recruiting process unless a longer retention period is required by law or deletion is requested.
8.Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. However, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
9.Children's Privacy
The Site is not intended for individuals under 16 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
